GMA Swim-A-Thon THANK YOU!

SWIM-A-THON RESULTS

Congratulations to all swimmers who participated in this year’s Swim-A-Thon!  Through all your hard work in and out of the pool we raised $4,933.00!

Regional Group: 21 swimmers raised $2,314.00, the most of any swim group! 

Age Group: 12 swimmers raised $1011.00.

Senior Group: 13 swimmers raised $1,508.00

Average raised by each swimmer: $105.00! ($5.00 above our goal)

In addition, we received a private donation of $100.00. 

Group Winners:

Regional Group: Nicole Barrett raised $202.00

Age Group: Kevin Hancock raised $187.00

Senior Group: Christa Weaver raised $300.00 

Overall: Evan Grey raised $425.00

This event could not have been successful without the support of many people. I would like to give a huge thank you to the following:

Burton, who donated a huge amount of merchandise for prizes

Eric’s Place who donated all the pasta for the after party

Coaches, who help motivate and keep track of all the swimmers

Carol Boardman for solicitation of the Regional Group prize

58 Total swimmers

194, 300 yards swum in total

13 athletes swam at least 50 lengths

32 atheltes swam at least 100 lengths

13 athletes swam 200 lengths
